Pro Ride started in 2011 as one of only a few recognised mountain bike skills coaching companies - 13 years on and we still love supporting people to progress. We pride ourselves on our professional coaching, a friendly atmosphere and the quality of our own MTB skills. We want you to feel comfortable, so you can get the most from your coaching experience.
Coaches are qualified through mountain bike coaching UK (mbcUK), fully insured and first aid trained; you are in safe hands. As well as the formal training, all coaches receive in-house training where they will learn more about the art of coaching and Pro Ride specific coaching methods. Meet our awesome team below…

I am passionate about the outdoors and have a strong background in coaching, training, and leadership in women’s sport and health.

I love riding Enduro and Downhill — and these days, you’ll even find me hitting the dirt jumps with a smile on my face. I still get nervous when trying something new on the bike, but I’m lucky to be surrounded by brilliant people who support me to push my limits and keep progressing.
Coaching experience:
20 years

Riding credentials:
I love riding my bike in the UK, the alps and at the dirt jumps. The skate park is still my nemesis!

For me, coaching is about more than just teaching skills—it’s about helping riders find their spark, grow their confidence, and enjoy the journey.
For me, coaching is about more than just teaching skills—it’s about helping riders find their spark, grow their confidence, and enjoy the journey.
Personally, you’ll find me hunting out tech trails, and I always enjoy discovering new places to put tyres to dirt. Still, there’s nothing more fun than sharing laps with good people, enjoying the chaos of a day’s riding.
Coaching experience:
8 years' ski instructing, ski instructor training, and race coaching, qualified TTL MTB Coach.

Riding credentials:
30+ years of riding experience, downhill racing up to world cup level, and six years testing bikes for MBUK and BikeRadar

I enjoy exploring with friends and supporting the local bike community.

I am lucky enough to live in the Forest of Dean so have trails on my doorstep and we have a couple of smaller races/events, and some summer evening timed runs in the Forest, that I get involved with. They are a great opportunity to nurture the competitive spirit and catch up with other riders.

Riding bikes is a way of life for me, I've been doing it longer than I can remember. I love being able to pass on the skills to others so they are equally as addicted

Bikes have brought me friends and experiences for a life time. There is nothing better than being out in nature, exploring and getting that adrenaline fix sprinkled with plenty of banter and good times. Living in the Forest Of Dean I'm lucky to have a wide variety of trails on the doorstep but I'm partial to straying over the boarder to Wales and further afield to Scotland and the Alps when I can.
Coaching experience:
2+ years as a Level 3 Guide

Riding credentials:
15+ years riding, downhill racing as a teenager and several big races abroad such as Trans Madeira and Enduro2
