Pro Ride started in 2011 as one of only a few recognised mountain bike skills coaching companies - 13 years on and we still love supporting people to progress. We pride ourselves on our professional coaching, a friendly atmosphere and the quality of our own MTB skills. We want you to feel comfortable, so you can get the most from your coaching experience.
Coaches are qualified through mountain bike coaching UK (mbcUK), fully insured and first aid trained; you are in safe hands. As well as the formal training, all coaches receive in-house training where they will learn more about the art of coaching and Pro Ride specific coaching methods. Meet our awesome team below…
I work full time as a Team Manager and performance coach for a factory world cup team - the best job in the world, but I still enjoy helping riders of all abilities to achieve their goals via the Pro Ride team.
Keep an eye out in MBUK for some of my ‘how to’ articles and on the downtime podcast for my DH World Cup post race interviews.

I would describe myself as a methodical rider which is possibly why I enjoy coaching – I enjoy guiding people on their journey to progression. I have raced enduro for 5 years, competing at both national and world level which was an amazing experience.
I have a degree in sport and exercise science and enjoy using this alongside my coaching and riding experience to help racers and riders progress.

I am lucky enough to live in the Forest of Dean so have trails on my doorstep and we have a couple of smaller races/events, and some summer evening timed runs in the Forest, that I get involved with. They are a great opportunity to nurture the competitive spirit and catch up with other riders.

The excitement and confidence I get from riding bikes is something I hope to inspire in the people I coach. I believe a sense of progress and achievement can make anything seem possible. I love an epic cross country ride as much as lapping my favourite trails or sessioning a new spot. I’m not a serious racer but it’s great fun to take part and challenge myself at enduro races.
If I’m not riding, the chances are I’m thinking about it or planning my next adventure.
