Are you in the Juvenile or Youth category and want to develop your gravity racing skills? The talent development sessions are for young riders looking to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours as a MTB gravity racer. It might be DH, enduro or 4X.
The sessions are run once a month on Sundays at the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre with two groups groups - Juvenile and Youth categories.
Each group session is 2.5 hours long and aims to offer young aspiring racers the chance to begin their journey with the British Cycling Talent Development regional Gravity pool.
Juvenile: 9:30 - 12:00 Riders in the year of their 13th or 14th birthday
Youth: 13:00 - 15:30 Riders in the year of their 15th or 16th birthday
Sessions will be led by Pro Ride’s Luke Marshall - Ex World Cup DH racer. The design and approach is supported by Oliver Morris, Elite DH racer, and performance coach for Laurie Greenland and DH Factory racing Performance Director. Other coaches from the region will also be used to support coaching delivery when required.
This is perfect for young riders who already show good ability and desire to race gravity MTB, they need to have the ability to ride the majority of the trails in the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre. If unsure, please contact us for more info before booking on.
